CH Acoustics is a manufacturer that has a very interesting background and brings a "renewed" insight to the World of cables. Please go on to their website and read more. For our purpose, this is an incredible sounding cable. At the $5,000 - $8,000 range, our perennial favorite is Nordost's Valhalla series. But the X20 from CH Acoustics throws an interesting "wrench" into our basket of favorites. The X20 edges out the Valhalla with a slightly smoother presentation and a more "chiseled" out soundstage. Background was darker and there was a sense of greater depth. When we used this between our SONY SCD-1 and ASR Emitter II reference integrated, this was what we got over the Valhalla. It is not a case where one is better than the other but rather two excellent cables that offers their unique "interpretation" of the music signal it is carrying. The X20 is now among our top three cables from our $5-$8,000 basket of favorites.

Cosmetically, it is in nice shape. Cable has been well cared for. We don't have the original packaging but will securely pack it for safe shipping.
