Graphene Matrix is the culmination of over a year of research into the effects of how individual conductor materials interact and how to maximize the positive effects while minimizing signal degradation. The focus was the creation of a unified conductor that behaved as a single component without the drawbacks of pure metal based conductors. The single biggest hurdle, however, was just how good Graphene Extreme is, especially for the money. Any new product offering must be clearly superior or it would be a non-starter.
Graphene is a fascinating material in that it operates at the atomic level. The resonances of the conductor, therefore, also operate at the atomic level. No external damping jacket is capable of dissipating these internal resonances. The conductor itself must be inherently well damped. This lead to the breakthrough of Silent Tunnel Technology.
The whole “conductor in a Teflon jacket surrounded by another larger jacket filled with damping material” had to be tossed out the door. The “damping jacket’ had to become part of the conductor. Using the Graphene Extreme speaker cable as a model, backbone conductors are placed in large thick walled Teflon tubes and they are surrounded with highly powdered OFC copper (yes…powdered copper…) and Graphene. This becomes one unified conductor that is inherently non-resonant down to the atomic level. We then place the Silent Tunnel conductors into larger jackets where additional damping materials are added to dissipate larger vibrations. For this reason we no longer need multiple configurations of power cords, as each Graphene Matrix power cord is ultra quiet at both the large signal and micro dynamic level.
The result is a new level of dynamic ease against hauntingly quiet backgrounds. Massed vocals can now be heard as distinct and clear individual vocalists all while retaining the “Organic” nature Cerious Technologies cables are known for. You even get beautiful retail packaging!
Interconnects
Why is the new line called “Graphene Matrix”? The focus was to find a way to make Graphene a more dominant role in the conductor. Based on medical research for the repair of tissues, woven fabrics are placed in other tissues where they collect blood platelets and ultimately “grow” together with the tissue. We used this as a model for a sophisticated woven tube of VERY fine pure silver wire that “collects” Graphene forming a virtual tube of Graphene. This Graphene tube is then woven with pure Carbon Fiber and larger conductors of copper and silver and placed in a Silent Tunnel Teflon tube where it is encased in OFC copper powder and Graphene. It takes over one hour to make a single 1 meter Graphene Matrix conductor. For this reason Balanced cables will have a premium in cost as they require more conductors and assembly time.
All Graphene Matrix Interconnects include:

Graphene Matrix Interconnects are offered in two lines – Standard which employs only the raw Silent Tunnel conductors wrapped in a Carbon Fiber jacket, and Damping Squared which places the woven conductors in a second larger Silent Tunnel for the ultimate in detail and quiet backgrounds.
Due to the labor intensive nature of Graphene Matrix conductors, Balanced Interconnects will have an added cost.
