2 meter pair, "MI-330 Shotgun Proline, CVT Terminator". These are very near mint condition, line level analog interconnects, balanced XLR. This particular series was first introduced in 1999 or so. I've had them for a tad over 10 years, but mostly they've been in storage. (I thought I might buy another balanced amplifier, but never have, and sold the one I had several years ago. I’ve been kind of out of highend audio for a while, but hope to slowly come back. I held onto these so long because I knew I would never find an XLR cable I liked better for even what I paid back then, which was about double what I'm asking now!!) The connectors and termination network boxes are shiny as new, and tight on the cable (no twist or wear of any kind). They look and sound unbelievably good, no matter how expensive your system is! I doubt there is any "network-terminated" cable in the world near this price, that sounds any better. The sound quality is equal parts speed, dynamics, detail, and with a natural musicality. They delivered a performance increase in every parameter over the unbalanced version of the same series, which I also owned for a time...was radically more transparent than the RCA version, but I loved them too! (The only reason I sold them was because I got a deal on an older MI-350 Shotgun RCA, which I still use all these years later!) These XLR cables are the "medium impedance" version, so they work with most all equipment. I used them between a Resolution Audio digital front end, and a Krell power amp (the amp was the weakest link in this chain...other than the speakers, which weren't shabby...and neither was the amp of course!) Original msrp when new was around $1000/pair for this length. I bought them used via audiogon back around 2002, and there is no original box. These need a good musical home. I am sorry to see them go, but I have other things and other "hobbies" I need to pay for. Thank you very much for reading, and happy listening always!
