The Tyr series from Nordost is an amazing series. Positioned as the next in line after the top tier Valhalla, it is priced closer to its lower siblings like the Frey and Heimdall than towards the Valhalla. At more than half the price of a similarly spec Valhalla, it is definitely not half the performance of its top tier brethren. Compared to the Frey, the Tyr has a more polite sound and a more cultured presentation. It is slightly smoother around the edges and although not has crystal clear like the Valhalla, does a remarkable job of coming close to it. Serial number is 30486.
