The Jasmine LP-2.0SE is the third interation of this "sleeper" preamp made in China. Jasmine makes very well regarded tube equipment and this preamp is their flagship phono stage. Has very high gain and sounds WAY above it's price point.
Very simple FET construction for tube type sound.
Has gain and impedance switching and outboard power supply.
Has had a $250 modification from Cruz First Audio in Flordia that involved replacing the coupling caps, new teflon RCA's and addition of copper shielding and damping inside. The capacitors are Mundorf Supremes and these mods take this $700 preamp to a totally new level.
Extremely CLEAN, neutral sound with the sweetness of tubes, but not the rolloff you usually get with tubes.
Comes with orginal cloth bags over the units, power and umbilical cable, box and manual.
Very good condition, one minor mark on read of power supply cover.
