Miles Davis Quintet - - The Great Prestige Records - 5-Album Box Set 45 rpm

I am offering for sale a box set of the Analogue Productions limited-edition reissue of The Great Prestige Recordings by the Miles Davis Quintet. This is a 45 rpm set, with 2 LPs for each of the five albums.

Given the uncompromising quality standards at Analogue Productions and the superior sonic quality of 45 rpm, I believe that the albums contained in this box set are of best quality than can found. Analogue Productions re-mastered these recordings on all-analog equipment using the original analog recordings. The lathe that cut the master disk for pressing was also all analog. No digital process can produce recordings that are as faithful to the original performance; no information is lost in all-analog processes.

Upon receipt of this box set I transferred each of the albums into a Japanese clear resealable outer sleeve. This was done without leaving fingerprints on the covers.

These albums have never been played because I started to lose my hearing and experience tinnitus in my right ear before I purchased this box set. I am selling these because my hearing loss and tinnitus are permanent.

I have rated the set as excellent solely because it is not in its original sealed covering. However, the vinyl and covers are as flawless as they were when I removed the sealed covering. The box has some minor light scratches on the bottom left of the front side, which is in the first photo.

The set is a bargain: The vinyl and jackets are in mint condition, the set is out of print on 45 rpm, and this set of albums is rarely seen on the market.

The quality of the sound on these albums is as good as it is possible to find. If you have good ears, this set will make you very happy.
