Jeff Jackson/Experience Music DHT 10/10Y Linestage

Here is a one-of-a-kind, bespoke, statement product. It is a DHT linestage built by Jeffrey Jackson (who builds some of the best tube gear in the world) for Kevin Brooks, who used it in his extremely expensive front-horn system (around 110 dB/W - so the preamp is very quiet).

This preamp has ALL-SILVER OUTPUT TRANSFORMERS - PRIMARY AND SECONDARY. These transformers run around $4,000 alone now, if you can get them. The preamp would cost about $10,000 new today. I am told it was built for around $6,500 about eight years ago.

The 10 is considered the best DHT in existence by some very experienced direct-heated triode fans.

I took it on trade. I am selling it because I have drastically slimmed down my audio investment and use an integrated amp. I will guarantee the amp against being DOA or having any other major issue.

Gain is 8 dB and output impedance a low 600 ohms (it would drive any solid-state amp).
