A Grammy winner and four time nominee, Hammond is also a multiple W.C. Handy Award winner and shared the stage and/or recorded with the likes of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf. This is acoustic guitar and rack harmonic playing with an impassioned voice. Recorded in St. Peter’s Church in New York City.

This record from my private collection has been played 5 or fewer times on a VPI TNT-6 turntable with an Air Tight PC-1 cartridge. Before playing, records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 using L’Art du Son cleaning fluid. Records are stored vertically in a Music Direct LP case in a pet-free, smoke-free, child-free environment. LPs have been kept and are shipped in archival anti-static sleeves with record jackets in archival quality outer sleeves. Purchased factory sealed and always handled very carefully, the vinyl is essentially in the condition when first opened.
