Joseph Audio RM22XL Excellent Floor Demos

Excellent pair of Joseph Audio RM22XL floorstanders in gorgeous furniture grade glossy rosewood ($200 extra when new). NOTE: These are the latest current "XL" model, not the predecessor Signature or Signature MKII.

Bought as floor demos from an authorized Joseph Audio dealer just a few weeks ago to use in my new retirement apartment which unfortunately has fallen through. The dealer said these are not yet broken in. I set them up for an hour in front of my regular system (see pics) just to check them out- flawless!- took a few snaps with my cell phone instead of a digital camera not expecting to sell them, and repacked them.

The XL model is a significant improvement above the predecessor models, with new 7" drivers having a 50% larger magnet and voice coil and using a tweeter derived from the $28,000 Joseph Audio Pearl. It's a relatively compact 2 way floorstander with bass extension to 38HZ (-2db).

These are outstanding speakers, super fast, detailed and clean with a great soundstage. Joseph Audio speakers have consistently been voted as best in show at the various Stereophile shows, which is where I first heard them and lusted after them.
