Vintage Kenwood turntable with heavy composite base. Cover is in excellent condition. Base has a few small spots. Black paint on the wooden bottom of the base is chipped in a few places and has been covered with a marker pen. Label is sagging a bit. Excellent working condition.
The Infinity Black Widow tone arm is a project. It has been repaired. It broke and was spliced together with an aluminum tube and epoxy. It worked fine like that for over fifteen years. The gold leads broke off the extremely fine signal wires. Rather than replace the wires I spliced on some heavier wires with new connectors and taped some slack to the tone arm so as not to place any stress on the fine wires when attaching a cartridge. I just tried it out with a carttridge and there is a 120 Hz buzz when the preamp is turned up. So there is a shielding problem. Don't buy this turntable for the arm. I have reduced the price to reflect the problems with the arm.
This thing is heavy, shipping will probably be around $40.
