Kimber Kable 4.5ft Pair 16TC one 8tc per phase

These 4.5 foot cables are in great shape and consist of one 8TC per phase. That's 16 individual TSCC conductors per phase -� twice the copper of a standard 8TC and 33% more copper than the 12TC. This yields an aggregate wire size of two 7 awg conductors. (This is the maximum wire size that the WBT connectors can accommodate!) As you can imagine, all the things that make the 12TC a better cable than the 8TC (low end extension, detail, imaging, etc.) are even more significant with these cables. Top-of-the-line WBT spades are the icing on the cake: platinum coated silver sandwich construction, 1/2� spades on one end and 5/16� spades on the other (for the WBT terminals on my Krell amp). You can always remove and/or replace the spades with other terminations, if you so desire.

Consisting of sixteen individual TCSS conductors, eight clear and eight white, arranged in a large format braid. Individual conductors are Hyper-pure copper and utilize our proven VariStrand conductor geometry. The insulating dielectric is a high pressure, low temperature extruded fluorocarbon. The aggregate wire size is two 9 awg conductors. By virtue of its full, accurate and dimensional sound, 8TC ranks as one of the best high-end audio values of all time and without question is the best sounding moderately priced cable on the market.

12TC ($395 per 5 foot pair)

The aggregate wire size is two 8 awg conductors. The tonal balance of 12TC is full, rich and powerful while the musical impact and dynamics reveal three-dimensionality and imaging. Although you may notice increased low end performance, the midrange and high frequencies are clear and detailed exhibiting coherency and realism.
