Selling my beloved pair of Klipsch TSCM Professional Loudspeakers. The good news is that they are TSCM’s! The bad news is that they’re not a “matched pair” component wise as far as the high frequency cabinets are concerned. Both bass bins are vintage 1984 builds; Serial # 84-01147 & Serial # 84-01151. Both bass bins have the original K-33E drivers. The High Frequency Cabinets are Serial # 84-01161 & Serial # 85-32812. The earlier “84” high frequency cabinet has the K-55-V midrange compression drivers. The later production “85” high frequency cabinet has the K-55-M midrange compression drivers. There are also changes/differences in the crossover section which can be seen in my link provided below of 56 detailed pictures on Google Picasa. Although not an exact matched pair these would provide an outstanding start to your collection and may be enhanced in the future by obtaining another similar high frequency cabinet section for the most discriminating Klipsch enthusiast. I have never tried to discern any audio imbalances between the two HF sections although audio purists may be able to distinguish such.
The condition of the cabinets are solid with the typical paint abrade from moving them several times. There are two 3/8” holes on each bass bin that secured them to staging to prevent drifting. I have run tone sweeps and recently listened to program music without any concerns. Always kept indoors but I am moving them to my garage for selling purposes. I am the only post-owner of these after being decommissioned from their original installation.
