We sold this silver Krell Evolution 402E originally and recently traded it in. It was built as a 402E in September 2010. Because Audio Video Logic is an authorized Krell dealer, the balance of the Krell five year factory warranty transfers from date of build to the next buyer. This is not the case with private sellers or unauthorized dealers. With an expensive amp like the Krell 402E, the transferable warranty could save the owner a thousand dollars in the event of a repair. The amp comes from a non smoking household and is great condition. All original packing is included.

The Krell Evolution 402E outputs 400 wpc into 8 ohms, doubling into 4 ohms and continuing to increase into 2 ohms. It has RCA, XLR and CAST inputs. To use the Krell proprietary CAST inputs, you must have a Krell CAST equipped preamp or Krell source with Krell CAST cable. CAST circuitry offers the lowest noise floor possible. The Krell Evolution amplifiers have received wonderful reviews. They are amongst the very best sounding solid state amplifiers in existance.
