Krell Evolution 402e Silver Original Box Packing Papers Accessories

I am selling my Krell Evolution 402e amplifier. This is not an upgraded 402. It is less than a year old and has the full remainder of the 5 year Krell warranty. The 402e is a BIG improvement over the 402. In an A/B comparison it only took me a few minutes to decide this was a very worthwhile upgrade.

I have everything for this amp, box packing materials, paperwork, power cord & XLR shorting pins. This amp was in my dedicated home theater powering a pair of Krell Resolution 2 speakers. This is a non-smoking no pet household. I upgrade my equipment often so I always make sure to take excellent care of anything I buy. This amp has low hours on it. We typically watch 1 or 2 movies a week. I just purchased a pair of Evolution 600 mono's so the 402e has to go. My wife would not let me move it to the bedroom system.

The 402e delivers 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 800 watts into 4 ohms. This amplifier is about a year old, maybe a little less. I purchased it from my local authorized Krell dealer brand new. They delivered it and installed it. This is the nicest example you will find of this amplifier anywhere online. New MSRP for this current product is $18,500. Before this amp I had a Krell KAV2250 and then a regular 402. When I listened to the 402e for the 1st time I just about fell out of my chair. I did not think that moving up from a 402 to 402e would make that much difference. It did! I have tried McIntosh mono blocks and a few Levinson amps and I always end up staying with Krell. You will be so happy with the performance of this amp.
