Krell KAV 250p preamplifier, balanced XLR, excellent condition

For sale Krell KAV 250p balanced preamplifier with RCA and XLR (balanced) inputs and outputs and with theater by-pass.

True high-end item, highly sought on the used market.

Excellent condition, no scratches or dents, faceplate is perfect.

Main preamplifier outputs both single-ended and XLR are in perfect working condition.
Tape outputs work fine too but missing RCA cups. I don't know who would need tape output these days, but if you do, you can use RCA cups from another unused source. The RCA cups on KAV 250p are interchangeable, they can be pulled by the hand and switched.

When changing the volume up or down, there’s little static noise on the right channel. This does not affect performance and/or sound quality. Should be easy to fix, but it never bothered me.

I don’t have the original remote control. I used this preamplifier with BAT VK-R3 remote control. This is high-end remote from Balanced Audio Technology (BAT). It is made of solid steel and can control volume and mute functions. It used to be $500 option on BAT preamplifiers. I can sell this remote for $50, if interested. Price on remote is non-negotiable
