I purchased my Lindemann 825 high definition disc player less than 1 year ago from an authorized dealer that updated this traded-in unit with the latest usb2 XMOS HD audio interface available from Lindemann. The interface works in “asynchronous mode” and accepts high quality music data up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The Lindemann 825 is actually a sophisticated and extremely versatile DAC with a CD transport, featuring coaxial (RCA) and optical (Toslink) S/PDIF inputs and outputs, as well as a hi-resolution 24/192 USB2 audio port. Drivers for the xmos usb2 module are available for both Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista/7 64bit from Lindemann Audio’s web site. The player’s ultra fast output analogue stage does not use op amps, which contributes to its extremely fast and neutral sound. The unit is in like new condition, it has no mechanical, functional or cosmetic issues, no scratches, dings or blemishes. It has been well cared for in a pet and smoke free environment with no kids around. I rated it 8/10 only to comply with AG recommendations, as I am second owner. It comes with remote, external universal power supply, manual and box. I am selling it due to system changing. Buyer adds paypal fees.
