Linn AV5105 Aktiv or normal Stereo Amplifier, one or more

SOLD Linn AV 5105 AmplifiersSOLD AKTIV Boards too Excellent condition DUAL MONO design in black. I am the original owner and they are in 8/10 or maybe even 9/10 condition. One of them has a tiny tic on the upper edge as you can see on the photo so it must be rated a 7/10. They have both line in and line out RCA connectors for looping to additional amplifiers. They also have speaker outputs for 4 pair of speakers. They use a banana like plug for the speaker wire that are very easy to find and work very well. I have three of them for sale, all in the same condition. I also have the electronic crossover circuit boards for them known as "Linn Aktiv" boards. These are specifically for the Linn AV5140 and Linn Espek speakers. They are available separately for $95 per aktiv board, one for bass, one for the midrange and one for the treble. This is a great deal if you have either of those two speakers or are thinking of getting them. These amps are rated at 100 watts/ch into 8 ohms and 200 watts/ch into 4 ohms. They are very powerful. They are the larger size chassis boxes, ie the same size as current Linn amps like the Akurate and Majik amps. They are larger than older Linn amps like the LK series and the Klout. They are wonderful for either a music system or a home theatre/ surround sound system. I am asking $795 each for them and will sell either one, two or three at a time. The aktiv boards are extra, as stated above. I have the original boxes and manuals. I will sell all three amps and with the aktiv boards installed for $2500. Also I have a beautiful pair of Linn AV5140 speakers that have been upgraded to the Espek drivers. They are currently configured as aktiv but I have the original crossovers and will re- install them. Either way I will include the original crossovers with them. I am asking $1095 for them in a separate auction. If all three amps, the speakers and the aktiv crossover boards are purchased at once I will knock $265 off the price, selling them all together for $3500 plus shipping. This would be a great, easy and relatively affordable way to get an instant Linn Aktiv system. Just supply the preamp and your source component and you will be ready to go!
