Adcom ACE-515, AC Enhancer

For sale by the original owner is an ACE-515 unit. It is rated 8/10 and it is offered for $80.

The unit has been treated very well while it was in my system. Original packaging and manual are provided.

The unit provided protection for my A/V system and it also provided some much needed convenience in allowing my tube amplifier to be switched on using the switched outlet on my pre-amp without concern that I was drawing too much power through that outlet.

The ACE-515 is a very carefully engineered and highly sophisticated device. It provides the following functions:
• The ACE-515 sockets are all filtered, insuring and enhancing the purity of the AC signal from your wall outlet. The filter provides protection from high-voltage spikes, Radio Frequency Interference, Electromagnetic Induction Interference and noise in the line.
• It is a sequential switcher in that it provides power to the correct components in the most desirable sequence.
• It permits you to turn on and off your accessory sources and amplifier by means of a single heavy-duty switch or through an external remote-control unit simply by plugging the “Control” AC cord into a switched outlet of any remotely controlled device.
• It enables a preamp to switch on and off large power amplifiers that have current demands beyond the capabilities of normal
