This plinth is finished in quartersawn, instrument grade Mexican Cocobolo, a wood that has recently become very difficult to get, and is about to become 'unobtanium'.

All boards are prepared by us, 'in house', to achieve the highest quality wood finishes available. We have been amassing an extensive 'library' of exotic woods over the past 25 years, to offer incredibly beautiful boards that are well seasoned, and ready to use in creating true, heirloom quality pieces. We do not use veneer brokers for our woods. We do not use commercially prepared veneer, ever.

This listing is for a Thorens TD 124 plinth in Cocobolo, with matching Cocobolo/ Basswood/ Panzerholz armboard ( or Ebony / Basswood / Panzerholz armboard, should you prefer a black armboard. Satin lacquer to match the old originals, is also an option), 4 Track Audio Isolation devices, mounting hardware, wiring harness, and a gold plated Furutech AC power inlet.
