VAC PA-100/100 Stereo Amp

A classic and very reliable 100W push-pull, KT88 stereo amp from Valve Amplification Company. I've used it to drive speakers made by Von Schweikert, Vandersteen, Jaton, and Sonus faber. Lots of power, drive, and subtlety. A fine all-around performer with good top-end extension, tuneful bass, and an expressive midrange. Great harmonic texture with especially clean, dimensional, and dynamic vocals.

Second owner and rated "8/10" for age. The unit was upgraded at the factory to PA-100/100 parts and specs from the PA-80/80 by its original owner. Excellent operation with no mechanical or electrical issues.

It's in very good cosmetic condition with all its badging intact. The face, top, back, and pots are all in excellent condition. The only flaws are two scratched areas on each side that were there when I bought it from the previous owner, who likely had it rack-mounted. One on the lower right side of the chassis (see photo) has some paint flaked off so that the aluminum shows through an area about 1/4" X 1/16" and then two small spots about 1/32" in diameter. The other on the upper left side near the front isn't very noticeable but there are three very minute, parallel scratches (see photo).

Ships in its original box. Tubes will be removed from the amp for shipping, nested in their own foam cradles designed by VAC, and tucked into the box. Manual included. There is no power cord.
