Questions for the seller
Does this come with the factory calibrated microphone and connecting cable? Can you please post a few pictures of this item so that we can see what condition it is in.
Hi ghlbiss...first of all pls check my feedback. Secondly, if truly interested, I'll be glad to help answer questions best I can...Here's my story...I agreed to purchase the DG-28 from an AGon member who proved to be difficult to work with resulting in more than a 3 week delay in receiving the unit after payment had been made. Frustrated, about 2 weeks after payment, I asked for my money back via Paypal. The seller's behavior was nothing like I've ever experienced with transactions on Agon previously. At about the same time that I had reached my point of frustration, I saw a DG-38 for sale by a Doc in Orlando, approximately 1 hour from my home. I contacted the Doc and we spoke, agreed to a price and met to exchange cash for the DG-38. My plan was to continue to request a refund on the DG-28 and then a few days later I receive a shipment that appears to have been shipped directly from Japan to my residence. All original carton appearing to have never been opened. By then I had a friend who is a retired PBS A/V engineer helped me set up the DG-38. As background I'm running a tri-amp system requiring a 3-way Xover for my Nearfield Acoustic Pipedream speaker system. After a week or so with the DG-38 in my system, I concluded that I was simply not interested nor do i presently have the time in learning all I need to know to fully utilize the DG-38. So I actually have the DG-28 in which the box has been opened and set up one time at the home of my A/V friend + the DG-38 that also has been reboxed and will go on the market when time permits. Finally, as part of the DG-38 package, I have the A02-U1 option board in it's original box which can be sold as an add-on for the Dg-28 or DG-38. I think it's worth around $600. So ghlbiss...I know this is a long story but I've ben in this hobby for many years and have reached a point that I recognize time is required to fully understand the attributes of the DG-28/38. Maybe when I retire i'll have more time but at present, I've elected to sell both units although the DG-38 is not yet on the market. When I do put it on the market, I'll advertise for $3500/3600 and include the Option Board. Hopefully I've answered your questions and hope I didn't bore you with all the details. I'd rather be transparent in all regards than otherwise...thanks. Greg
