I may be able to deliver meaning NO or VERY LOW shipping $$. How can you get a better deal than that? The Ren 70/70 is incredible. As close as I'll ever get to magic and it's taken a lot for me to consider putting it up for sale. However I need to consider selling as I need $$. There's about 800 hours on the tubes. Trade offers are welcome. I can drive it to you if you're in AZ, UT or CA. Maybe CO. If you're serious we can setup a listening session at your place before you buy. In addition to the legendary mid-range (I'm actually not using that adjective for effect - if you haven't heard it I'm sure you'd agree), I've been surprised at how well this amp drives speakers that shouldn't be that easy to drive. Wilson Audio Sophias, Joseph Audio Pulsars and Magnepan 1.7s should sound strained at some point but I never hear it. What is amazing to me is that for each one of these speakers I hear that same magical midrange. This was recently (March) sent back to VAC and looked over with some minor changes made. It was sent to VAC for no other reason than the previous owner wanted to make sure I was happy. You can call VAC to confirm. The previous owner had it completely retubed last year with a full octet of brand new 300Bs and a quartet of 6SN7s, all carefully matched and chosen by VAC. The tubes alone are a $1500 value. Tubes are fairly new. I've owned since March and have put maybe 500 hours max on them. They now have no more than 800 hours on them after previous owner used the new tubes only slightly - he bought them last year. I now hook it up only on special occasions so I don't put more significant hours on. The image above is from google images, but it's almost indistinguishable from my amp. I'll include my own pics later in the week.
