An 'As New' condition state of the art High End Audio transport/ streamer based on the Sqeezebox Duet. The "TranspOrt" as it's simply called, was contrived by Lukasz himself and features a TUBE RECTIFIED PSU (power supply) and vacuum tube S/PDIF output. Inputs are via LAN and S/PDIF so you can run either external hard drives/ sources or directly from your favorite CD player/ transport with the simple push of a button. This unit was given hand-picked tubes as well as the excellent upgrade of Jupiter copper capacitors, all of which performing as new. The sound is exemplary. Utilizing select vacuum tubes to accommodate a digital signal chain truly delivers uncanmy performance. Imagine all the benefits of digital's dynamics, detail retrieval and technical prowess married to a fully governed vacuum tube output stage exuding natural presence, texture, soundstage width AND depth, and you-are-there tangibility! IMHO it actually instills an upbeat tempo that can get out of the way with gentle melodies but infuses foot tapping drive when the music calls for it. I am the original owner.
