The DAC 20 gives an analogue output of 2.5V RMS. And have a fully balanced output as well.

It’s based on different technologies, from the solid state and the tube world.
The power supply is based on best quality regulators LT317 / LT337 for the analog section, and LP2951 for the digital part.

The High Voltage supply is base on a tube rectifier, and chokes. This gives a clean and noise free power supply.

The construction is feed from five different windings from a well over dimensioned transformer. And several different supplies are included on the PCB making a clean and stable supply for each circuit.

The output stage is made of a single ended class A design, base on a single transistor

COMPANY AND BACKGROUND:
20 years experience in the development D/A converters, has also done consulting assignments for some of the top names in audio busines One-man company and everything is made by hand from own handmade prints.

The PCB is special made, the solder is ESA/Space approved. Danish Audio Design is a Danish company with audio DA converter as a specialty. The founder and "DAC guru" Ole Nielsen has 20 years experience in the DA converter.
