I checked with Audiogon, and the "reserve" can't be textually deleted, but I can sell to the highest bidder after close, which we will.
This immaculate preamp, property of my friend's late husband, was removed from her system and PROFESSIONALLY RE-PACKED IN THE ORIGINAL MAC FACTORY SHIPPING CONTAINER by New England Hifi. As an audio person myself (Bryston, Duntech Sovereigns), I can say that the PRE was perfect in both sound and appearance when it was running, driving Snell B Minors. No marks, scuffs, bubbles, whatever. It was owned by a music teacher and phonograph collector. My friend is a classical opera voice coach who has moved to a smaller home and would like to downsize her equipment. 100% pet and smoke free home forever. If it weren't for the Audiogon requirement of newness, I would rate this Mint. I can't imagine that there is a 42 out there anywhere in better original condition.
The unit is now in a system and can be auditioned via an Onkyo power amp, and a choice of speakers, from AR 9's to Martin Logan CLS II z's to stacked original Quads, in Brunswick, Maine. See also a video here:
