Meridian 808.5 Signature Reference CD Player Exceptional Digital Pre-Amp with USB

Up for sale is my Meridian 808.5 Reference CD Player.  This is not an 808.3.  No, this is the latest 808.5 with the USB input and a host of other enhancements that move this unit way beyond what the 808.3 was capable of.  This unit comes with all of the packaging, manuals, and accessories that came with it in February 2013 when I bought it from an authorized dealer.  More pictures coming.

Ever since my Wadia CD player, I have been a big believer in using a digital pre-amplifier as my front-end.  I honestly can say that this unit surpasses the Wadia I have owned, as well as the Esoteric K-03.  My loss is your gain.

I am the original owner of the unit.  The unit started as an 808.3 but was upgraded by Meridian prior to delivery to me.

In addition the 808v5 includes improved DSP feeding the analogue outputs for a sweeter sound, and new firmware to support SpeakerLink enhancements such as subwoofer level, Enhanced Boundary Control (EBC), crossover adjustments and other features such as bass timing and loudness adjustments.
