McIntosh MC275 MK IV Object of Desire

McIntosh MC275 MK IV includes upgraded Genalex Golden Lion KT88 tubes.  Lovely sound.  Includes 4 speaker wire adapters [pictured] for spades and bananas. Serial number VN1823 manufactured in Binghamton, NY during April 2005.   I am second owner.  
I had this MC275 checked and aligned in July 2015 to new specs by Audio Classics of Vestal, NY.  Receipt photos from that visit are included in the photos and the originals accompany your purchase.    Used about 100 hours since repair with Von Schweikert VR4-jr MK III's.     This MK IV accepts either balanced or unbalanced inputs!  The Mark IV is great for bi-amping as voltage is adjustable on the front panel when using balanced inputs, from 1.2 v to above 2.5 volts to match other amp in a bi amp configuration.    The front panel is in good condition with only a few hair width light scratches in the chrome.  One scuff on the back of the tube guard as shown in photo, thus the 7/10 rating.  This amplifier functions without issue.  Includes original power cord and an instruction manual.  I am selling as I have switched to all solid state.   The amplifier will be shipped ground insured to your purchase price, in a factory sized double-corrugated box with the amp secured to custom drilled plywood base, surrounded by expanded foam packing.  The tubes will be  individually wrapped in bubble wrap and protected.   Seller paid Shipping price applicable for 48 contiguous US states only.    Local delivery to NYC area available and preferred provided by seller.  Shipments to AK, HI or Canada require actual shipping costs in excess of USD $80 will be billed at actual cost to the buyer and those additional shipping costs are Buyer's responsibility to pay.  Any Canadian duty is Buyer's sole responsibility to pay.  Sold as-is, no returns.
