ANTIPODES DXe same as DX Ref MUSIC SERVER, newest software and firmware

Up for sale is a newly gone through demo Antipodes DXe which became the DX Ref when they changed the chassis. Everything inside is the same as a Gen 1 DX which won the awards. . Before i go into anything I'll start by saying this unit has a rough looking chassis in the pictures. This piece is a demo unit and shows scuffs minor scratches and so forth, but nothing major. We will be having it refinished top and sides for a nice gloss black finish. If you get to us before we paint, you will have a few paint color choices.  I personally went through this piece and loaded the new firmware, checked the CD ROM then added all the new Gen 2 software which is Roon ready, and streams Tidal, along with a myriad of other programs. As you may or may not know, this music server is known to sound most like an audiophile analog piece rather than a computer. It does not play Video, which is your first sign a media player is not optimized for audio. The Antipodes DX automatically rips CD's to the drive and sorts it and records all the information such as song list, etc, all AUTOMATICALLY. Put your CD in and it comes out a few minutes later ripped and on the hard drive of the Antipodes. 
You control this unit with a smart phone or tablet. Its very intuitive and very easy to use. Its set and forget. Once its set up, thats it.. its a very trouble free piece. For those of you that are new to computer audio, do not worry, not only is it simple to set up, we will be there to guide you step by step if you need it.. Evenings and weekends included. 
This unit comes with a 1TB HDD, with sample music, and additional SSD's are available for varying cost.
