These are very lightly used demonstrators. These have had there internal wiring upgraded to cryogenically treated Ohno continuous cast copper wire. LaHave Audio has been quietly manufacturing some of the finest, most musical loudspeakers available for over 20 years. Always thinking outside the box, these speakers represent a level of sonic performance that greatly exceed there price. Designed as a true bookshelf speaker, these allow the end user multiple options for placement with excellent results. They come with built in brackets and associated hardware for mounting directly to the wall. Ideal for small to medium rooms, they are capable of a flat response of 50hz-20khz stand mounted, and when coupled directly to the wall(or on an actual bookshelf), will increase usable bass by almost another full octave, and play down into the 30's. Speakers are 89db efficient with output to 106db in a normal sized room. THD is .25% at 95db at 10ft. Sonically speaking these little speakers are lions. They throw a huge soundstage that is dense in information. The midrange itself is rich in tone and body and has tremendous weight and slam. It is literally shocking how balanced and dynamic they are. The highs are open and extended as well, and due to their point source nature are very easy to set up and give a musical experience that only a truly well designed point source can. Compared to their big brother the Avaza, they lack the overall dynamics and scale, but give nothing in their ability to see into the musics core, and sheer musicality.
