Border Patrol 300B SE EXD Tube SET amplifier

Border Patrol 300B SE EXD Tube SET amplfier with separate tube power supply.  Amp has Electroharmonix gold 300B tubes with ~100 hours on them.  The Power supply has been re-tubed with NOS tubes that have ~50 hours on them.  This amp was sent to Border Patrol in 11/15 for EXD full upgrade package. The EXD upgrade alone costs $3750 and includes cryo-treated inter-stage and output transformers, copper chassis parts and upgraded internal components. It's almost a complete strip down and re-build. The EXD upgrade results in a lower noise floor, increased information retrieval, better tonal balance, and a more relaxed, sweeter, fluid presentation overall.  Check out the great reviews on this amplifier including a recent review of the standard (non-EXD version) 300B SE in The Audio Beat.
