If you are here looking, I assume you know what an Antipodes Music Server is. Widely acclaimed as the most analog sounding Music Server available, the DX Ref received a Stereophile A+ award which is a first for a music server, and this unit the DS SSD is the exact same machine and software, without the linear power supply of the DX.  In terms of bang for the buck, the DS is it for sure.  The unit we have for sale is a mint condition trade in from one of our clients. We put his SSD in to his new DX, so this is being sold with a brand new 1TB SSD, but you may upgrade to a 2TB for $400 extra.  As part of the deal, we are willing to rip and load in lossless format, 100 of your CD's at NO CHARGE. If you have more CD's we will rip and load them for .75c each. This means you can receive your new server loaded with all your music, ready to play.  If you already have your music collection on a hard drive, its as easy as click and drag to load the Antipodes. If you still need to rip your collection you may simply load the CD in to the front of the Antipodes and it will rip and file your CD in its proper location then spit it back out about 6 minutes later. Its as easy as that, you dont even need a computer.  This is the best thing since sliced bread. You can sit down and access thousands of albums without even standing up, as the Antipodes is controlled by your smart phone or tablet.  With ROON on board, you are able to use the latest technology for music Database management and playback. Roon and Antipodes both support hi resolution PCM as well as Native DSD. The user interface is extremely easy to use and the most comprehensive player interface we have ever seen. Not only that, the Roon player software is considered the best sounding.  Along with this purchase, you will receive full setup and playback support from both us as well as Antipodes.
