Beautiful example of a BAT VK-20 preamp. This one has the optional remote and phono stage included which added $1,000 to base price of $1995. I don't have a clue how BAT put this out at the price it retailed for back in 2003. It is a gorgeously clean and wide open sounding preamp and in today's new digital world it positively sparkles when fed high resolution sources! The phono stage also sounds superb and I'd easily put it up against some high dollar separate phone stages.
This piece is super clean, faceplate is without a mark, remote is perfect and operationally it is perfect. One very small scratch at top cage is like that prevents me from proclaiming this "mint" but it is (as photos show) as close as you can get. Box and packing are with it along with a copy of the manual.
Fantastic preamp for a bargain price!
