Edgarhorn Titan System Seismic Sub.

When you own a premiere Vintage System and decide to let it go it makes you toss and turn about the decision. Room constraints (and nothing more) finally dictate as this system deserves a larger room and a caring new home. Folks you won't see this very often on audiogon or anywhere else and if you have never heard a properly set-up wood horn system you just won't understand how good these are. For sale is my Edgarhorn Titan system with Seismic Subwoofer driven by the Marchand MB42 subwoofer amplifier.The system was built in 2004 by Bruce Edgar and his associate and has been in a dedicated smoke/child free listening room 75 miles west of Omaha ever since the 1000 lbs. of crates arrived via truck in my driveway. The overall system consists of a Fostex T500 MKll tweeter, Midrange horn has the JBL 2441 Compression driver with upgraded Beryllium diaphragm by Truextent, (stock aluminum diaphragms also come with), folded horn midbass cabinet contains the JBL K-120 vintage 12 inch driver, and finally the Seismic Sub. contains a modified EV 18 inch driver modified with a light weight cone upgraded to keep pace with the fast compression drivers. I also have the stock JBL K2250 that came with. This system can be played easily with a 2wpc 45, 2A3, 300B etc. SET amplifier. I drove them with several amps. but permanently the Korneff 45 and the Border Patrol 300B. Keep in mind what goes in with these comes out as the sensitivity of this system is over 107 DB into 16 ohms. I cannot ship these beautiful beasts but two options are available. First I will blanket and load them via enclosed trailer and deliver anywhere in the cont. US for $500 or you can come pick them up 75 miles west of Omaha, NE. or I will meet at your convenience. Overall condition is rated a 7/10 as their are a few imperfections when I got them but certainly nothing major. Payment is via Certified Check on this transaction.
