Moerch DP-8 Anisotropic.  The best Moerch - beats arms well over its price point. In fact, I can say that confidently about all three models of Moerch tonearms (DP8, DP6, and UP4). Available in gold, chrome and limited edition black.
Anisotropic because the effective mass for the horizontal mode of motion is many times higher than the effective mass for the vertical mode of motion. – No matter the effective mass of the armtube used. Took years of research and refinement to build this beauty.

For a review, please click on  Moerch DP8 Review
Model DP-8 Anisotropic has a unique combination of bearings: For the horizontal mode of motion a silicone damped, high precision ball-bearing assembly with large housing for substantial damping. Two precision sapphire bearings are incorporated for the vertical mode of motion. This also may be damped, if desired, by injecting silicone fluid into a well for vertical damping. Vertical damping is rarely needed for this model. It is independent of the damping of the horizontal mode of motion, and further it can be adjusted to all intermediate levels of damping.
Model DP-8 Anisotropic has a device for adjusting the VTA while playing integrated. Markings for “getting back” to a special setting is provided. The large effective mass for the horizontal mode of motion is stabilizing the the armtube horizontally, so that at very low frequencies it is only the cantilever of the cartridge, that is moving – not the tonearm. This means that the bass goes all the way down reproducing all the bass on the record with full amplitude and dynamics.

Questions for the seller
I am looking for new silver DP-8. If possible please advise if this is the one. Not yet certain which one is better 9" or 12". Michael Fremer says 9" tonearms is the way to as they have less sonic issues. Planned to be mounted on Garrard 301. Advise appreciated. Tommy
Yes, it is silver one. This is the first time I am hearing such a thing regarding nine inch versus 12 inch. Either would sound great and look beautiful on your Gerrard. please feel welcome to call me or give me a number to call you. Mehran
OK. Please below Mr. Fremer's comments: "Nine Inches—More than Long Enough for Me! Despite their popularity in some circles, I've never been a big fan of 12"—or longer—tonearms. (What were you thinking?) I've long believed that whatever benefits are gained with longer arms' lower theoretical tracking error and need for less anti-skating force are more than offset by their lower rigidity, their amplification of any errors made in setting overhang or zenith angle, and, especially, problems resulting from the arm's greater moment of inertia—ie, a tonearm's ability to handle a record groove under dynamic conditions.
