Trenner & Friedl Pharaoh Local Sale Only

I am offering a pair of Trenner & Friedl Pharaoh loudspeakers, which rarely appear on the used market.  Purchased in January 2013 from an authorized dealer, these speakers have proven to be the most musically satisfying speakers I have ever owned, including Harbeth SHL5s, Monitor 30's, Coincident Partial Eclipse, Totem Forests and Hawks and the Opera Callas Monitors.  While these speakers were all excellent, the Pharaohs exceed them in every category, as they should for over twice the price.  While they would be excellent in medium-large rooms these are, IMO, the ultimate apartment speaker, with high sensitivity and deep bass and they can be placed close to walls due to their bottom porting.  Never abused - driven with a Viva 18 watt SET amplifier only.  Local sale only (JFK airport area) as they are too large for me to ship and I can't risk damage.  Besides, you can come to inspect and demo before you buy, as you should with a purchase like this.  Excellent condition, covered when not in use with included custom covers. Rated 8 for age only. (3-1/2 years)  IMO, this is the speaker to own when you're ready to get off the merry go round, stop listening to hifi and start listening to music.   Paypal or cash and carry.  No fees at asking price.  Selling system for personal reasons due to life events.  Thanks for looking.
