Vendetta Research SCP-2T MC Phono Stage

I am offering here one of only 5 Known to exist the venerable Vendetta SCP-2T this is John Curl’s master statement for the Art of Phono reproduction which is virtually never seen on the Resale Market. He has taken an already acknowledged one of the finest Stages ever produced and moved to another level with the Teflon caps and other improvements -here is how the Units have evolved since inception

SCP-2A - phase reversed came in 2 boxes SCP-2B - phase corrected, variable loading, came in a 19" faceplate joining the 2 mono units. SCP-2C - adds 47K ohm support SCP-2D - improvement with a drop in distortion, rare and hard to find. SCP-2T - latest revision by JC, $1500 in mods that will change the wires, FET's, and add expensive Teflon caps, and other proprietary treatments. Need a good unit to get started. The Vendetta and the T upgrade would easily run $4000-5000 now on the used market. One of the two finest Phono stages ever made and not surpassed today—the other is the Mares Connoisseur both no longer made and exceedingly rare to locate pristine examples.
This unit is in Excellent condition and comes in its custom Flight case as shown. The PSUs are currently set for 220/240V but I have the Designers settings for change to 110/120v and are included in the Carton,It its simple task to convert should this become necessary. This particular unit -like all the SCP model has variable MC load adjustment for each channel this one being from 50 to 234 Ohms and is set at 100 Ohms both channels. These settings can be extended by resistor changes if desired details are enclosed with the Unit. John assured me by Email he still services the Units should one wish to have him do so.
This Phono stage is virtually unsurpassed in its T form and compares equally with the much vaunted Mares Connoisseur Phono stage.
