ANTHEM STATEMENT P2 BEAUTIFUL STEREO AMP! (REDUCED)

I offer for sale the top-of-the-line, Canadian built and designed Anthem Statement P2 stereo amplifier in beautiful condition. Please, as I always say,
forgive the crappy pictures because they in no way do this amp (or anything I sell) justice.

I
purchased this amplifier in July, 2011,brand new from HIFI House in Broomall PA., an authorized Anthem dealer. Serial # is 144138 and the voltage is 120 VAC.

The gorgeous
black face-plate is the "standard" version at 19 and 1/4 inches wide at
the face-plate and has no blemishes that I can see.  The only blemish on the entire amplifier (including the bottom!) that is visible to me is a very small discolored mark of the top plate, about half way down the top from the front, near the top right edge (see photo). When I run my finger over it, it feels smooth but I always note any blemish in the interest of full disclosure.  I have rated the amp an 8 out of 10 because because of the blemish. The amp is otherwise in what appears to be, nearly perfect cosmetic condition, including the entire faceplate, both sides and the rear of the amp.

According
to the original owners manual (included), with both channels driven,
the P2 will output 325 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 500 watts per
channel into 4 ohms, and 675 watts into 2 ohms. The owners manual says that the "Statement P2/P5 amplifiers are stable into impedances down to a short circuit at full output."!! Now that is truly a testament to the bulletproof design of an amplifier, especially coming from a highly reputable Canadian audio manufacturer.

It has
balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs for both channels; a trigger input
and output, and, my favorite, an "Auto-On" feature which turns the amp
on automatically (with no trigger wires) once it senses an input signal
on any channel, and switches off after 20 minutes of no input signal.

The
amp and all of its functions has worked flawlessly and has never needed
servicing of any kind.

This amp measures 19 and 1/4 inches
wide, 22 and 1/2 inches deep including the rear handles, and nearly 10 inches high with feet
included. It net weight is a solid, but not ridiculously heavy, 75 pounds.

As many Audiogon
members know, I refrain from attempting to describe the "sound" of an
amplifier because it would be meaningless.  There are several very
positive reviews online of the P2 so please, search away.

I will
ship to the continental United States only in the original, double-box
Anthem carton.  Also included is the original power cord, trigger cable, and
manual. I will ship with either FedEx (preferred) or UPS with full
insurance. Buyer is responsible for the payment of shipping charges and the 3% Pay Pal
fee.
