Simaudio Moon W-7M Monoblocks 500W/ch into 8 ohms

Very rare on audiogon, these statement monoblocks from Simaudio have done wonders for my system (while matched with my Simaudio P-7 preamp). I own Raidho C3.0 speakers and they demand amps with the ability to control their bass, and boy did they ever. But beyond bass control and articulation, these amps like all Simaudio products are quite musical in their presentation. Really hate to part with these, but I've recently moved to an Aavik U-300 integrated, designed by the same Raidho engineering team.

With 500 W per channel into 8 ohms (1000W/ch, 4 ohms), one might think these amps would heat your home in the summertime, but no--these barely get warm and Simaudio actually recommends leaving them on 24/7.

I’m not the original owner and I’m not going to sugarcoat the evident scratches found on the corner posts and casework (see pics). I must assume the prior owner stacked other Sim components on top (not sure why folks do this), but they are obvious upon inspection. Not so bad from a distance. Fortunately the front and back faces are in excellent condition as you can see in the photos. I’ve rated these as a “7” to reflect these issues and priced accordingly.

They’ve worked perfectly in my system in a smoke- and pet-free environment. Will ship in original double-box packaging with stock power cords, manuals, and rounded-cone detachable feet.
