Rare opportunity to get the entire Resolution Audio OPUS 21 system stack.... This system was purchased ca 2009 and has been in stored in my home since 2010 with very little run-time.... EVERYTING WORKS including the CD Player..
The package includes all 4 stacked / docked modules... CDP on top, Extra Sources Module just below, the 30 Watt S30 amp below that and PSU and Control Center on the bottom.
The Original Resolution Audio OPUS stack retailed for $ 6,000, and this unit has the Great Northern Standard / lite upgrade adding $ 1,500 to the Retail.
The Great Northern Standard upgrade is a ' LITE ' upgrade adding an upgrade to the PSU and just resonance control to the CDP unit and builds on the magic of the original DNM / Resolution Audio collaboration.
The PSU and analog systems had been fine tuned by DNM in the UK. and the 30 Watt / ch. amplifier is effectively a slightly higer wattage version of the renowned 23 Watt DNM PA3S which retails for over $ 4,000 alone !!
This MosFET amplifer has a very Natural Tube like quality with outstanding low level detail reminisent of the best Tubes..
This is the Ultimate Compact HI-END system with a CDP / DAC which uses the top Burr Brown 1704 DAC Chips.... the DAC handles up to 96/24. The CD Player is comparable to the classic Wadia CD Players which used the same expensive Burr Brown 1704 DAC chip.
The total System has a staggering 14 inputs including an AM/FM Tuner sourced from Creek Audio in the UK and a Moving Magnet and Moving Coil input sourced from DNM in the UK.

| Is that 100 watts into 8 ohms or 4 ohms?

I just looked up the Amplifer User Manual and discovered it is an 80 Watt amplifer ... an that is into 8 Ohms... I will amend the Audiogon listing right away .... FYI the S80 amplifer is a very fine Switch mode amplifer also fine tuned by DNM... the original S30 which is just 30 Watts is an original DNM design BUT has power limitations.... which is why Resolution Audio came up with a higher powered amplifer... the amplifer is based around the Hypex modules from Bruno Putys which are considered to be some of the best..
