Antipodes Audio DS Music Server 2TB HDD

If you have tried computer audio by using a laptop or the popular Mac Mini and come away less than impressed with the sound you were getting, then the Antipodes DS is your solution. Built to deliver music and only music, this server was designed without all the noise inducing processing that typically takes place in all computers. As a single-purpose server, one can easily hear the difference.  

My Antipodes DS is in excellent condition with nary a scratch anywhere. I've rated it an "8" to be very conservative as I'm am not the original owner. With 2TB of onboard storage, this unit can handle the biggest collections. (I ripped just under 700 CDs and only took up about 360 GB with uncompressed FLAC files.) So impressed have I been with its performance that I've moved to the much more expensive DX model. I would say the DS gives one about 85 to 90% of the performance of the DX. This model is Roon-compatible and among the playback options available, I found Roon to sound the best and have the best interface. Spoil yourself by using a tablet for controlling playback and add Tidal to the mix for an awesome, immersive musical experience. 

I have the original shipping box that will be double-boxed for safe shipping. There was no manual as set-up guides are available online from Antipodes.
