Up for sale here is an AVC Bamboo Edge Series isolation platform.  Size is 16" x 18" x 2” thick (3-1/2” total height with spikes) and the color is a charcoal black (also available in blue, red, and tan cork colors.

This platform is  made from the same extensional damping materials as our isolation blocks. It consists of a middle layer of 1.5"” thick Baltic Birch plywood (26 ply void free) sandwiched between two layers of very durable 1/4" cork material (think of the cork material as a cross between cork and linoleum) for a total of 28 vibration killing layers. The cork makes a durable non-skid surface that gives slightly.

The platform edges are wrapped with 3/4" thick Smith & Fong caramelized bamboo. Both the cork and the bamboo edges have a polyurethane finish and the platform comes with high quality spikes installed as shown as well as floor discs.

This is an extremely inert, high mass platform that does an excellent job of preventing vibrations from reaching your equipment which in turn improves the over SQ of your system. Great for improving SQ on all types of equipment such as turn tables, amps, pre-amps, sources, etc. at a price that doesn't break the bank.  It weighs in at about 15 pounds with the spikes installed. The spike spread is 4" less than the total size of the platform.
