Tremendously robust amplifier. This the the great NAIM amplifier with 140 watts a side and the huge separate power supply. It is part of a trade on some gear with a well heeled audiophile who keeps his gear in pristine condition. He has several systems and this has been in a house he only occupies about 30% of the time. No box included, but professionally packed. Includes generic power cord and the massive NAIM cords to connect to the power supply. You can see a string of 5 star reviews here

| Would you please send the serial number? Assume this hasn't been updated to DR level? How old is the amp? Correct, this is an early model, from a gent who had 3 NAP 500s in one of 4 homes. The new DR is around $34k I think. It looks newer but isn't. Of course they didn't change the design for 15 years. This is from the first or second year. (I'm at the Munich Show so don't have access to the serial number but will have it sent.) upgrade to DR status is about $6500 I believe. If it doesn't sell this time, we'll have it upgraded and put it back on for $18k (they seem to be selling at that price point.) amp still sounds very good. |
