Pair of gloss white Dynaudio Focus 260 speakers. Will ship in outstanding condition with original boxes. Even ordered brand-new grilles from Dynaudio to accompany; originals in the image show a mild warp at the top of the right grille from placing in box during a move; admittedly, the grilles are finicky; the sound quality, however, is outrageous!

Priced to sell on account of wife's sense that these are overkill for our very small space. Reasonable offers considered, even though I absolutely love these speakers.

Featuring Dynaudio's Esotec2 tweeters (originally branded as Esotar2 until that ate into Dynaudio's higher range sales) and Magenesium Silicate Polypropylene woofers.

Spectacular soundstaging, resolution, impact, and tonal balance across a frequency range of 32hz–23khz (± 3 dB)

REVIEWS:

"Dynaudio’s Focus 260 surprised me more than any speaker of recent memory. It has proven to be a highly dynamic, emotive model that offers a great deal of innovative technology and quality engineering in a compact package. The combination of uncanny bass control, velvety midrange, and top-end sweetness is as addictive as melted chocolate on a New York cheesecake." - SoundStage! Hi-Fi

"The treble is handled by a 28mm soft dome tweeter with a new profile. Initially Dynaudio declared it the Esotar2 but eventually called it the Esotec2. I suspect this is some kind of trick simply to justify the more expensive Dynaudio ranges [...] Would I overreach by saying that I preferred the new 260 to the Confidence C1? That the Special 25 recently authored as Signature Edition did not give me as much enjoyment as the 260? Will it be irresponsible to pronounce with complete calmness and a straight face that to me only the mighty Temptation seems to be clearly and indisputably superior in every respect to these small speakers? Personally the answer to these question is unambiguous. It is a "No!" uttered with complete conviction." - 6moons audio reviews (Red Fingerprint Award Winner!)

"It is a fabulous, small, floor-standing, all-around performer. This three-driver, 2.5- way speaker is easy to power and is not particularly difficult to place in a listening room, either. It has a neutral tonal balance and wonderfully articulate and extended bass" - The Absolute Sound, High-End Audio Buyer's Guide

"As for the sound, it exhaustively classified by the same word - right. In our test, only Dynaudio speakers were noted meaningful and rich in all registers playing baroque, good scale symphonic recordings without the slightest hint of dirt or compression, bulging and weighty drums drummer and tight wave from the long pedal body." - HiFi Review

MANUFACTURER'S DECRIPTION

The Focus 260 features a dual mid/bass driver complement, comprised of two MSP woofers equipped with the advanced new black Kapton® voice coil formers and die-cast aluminum driver baskets, built into a relatively large cabinet volume. A perfect sonic integration with the Dynaudio soft dome tweeter, which features the new Precision Coating, is achieved via the high-grade high-performance, phase corrected crossover. Due to the relatively slim cabinet, which stands less than 1 meter tall, an ideal sound radiation is ensured – even at short listening distances. The Focus 260 thus combines the same excellent speed, expansive soundstage, incredibly natural musicality and extremely accurate and homogenous balance of the compact Focus 160 with added low-bass dynamics and presence.

GREAT CONDITION:

Near-mint. Just ordered two brand-new replacement grilles from Dynaudio, as one original had a slight warp from moving; speakers themselves are in outstanding condition. Original Packaging.

Had been used at limited volume with Audio Alchemy DDP-1/NAD M22 in a smoke-free, pet-free home. Selling to finance even smaller speakers for a new apartment. My 9/10 condition NAD M22 is also for sale in a different listing.

These are rumored to be discontinued because they performed too well (!) against Dynaudio's more expensive Contour and Confidence lines. The Focus 260 speakers (immeasurably better than the earlier, very different 220s) are high-performance compact floorstanders with, in piano white, unusually high WAF.
