47 Laboratory 4706 Gaincard

I am selling a 47 Laboratory amplifier, model Gaincard. This listing is for one amplifier, 2 x 50w model, and one "Humpty" power supply, 50W version, 220/240 V.

Separate from this listing, I also have one more 50W Humpty (mint condition), and one more 50W Gaincard (brand new in the box). There is also a 25W version with two 50W Humpties also available, please inquire via email if you are interested.

I am new to Audiogon, but I have a 100% positive feedback on eBay, you can check my listing there as well.

About the Gaincard amplifier: This is a well known amplifier of a rather revolutionary Japanese design - it is very small in size, it has a separate power supply to minimize interference and isolate vibration problems, and it employs zen philosophy of "less is more" in the circuitry design. It comes with one Humpty power supply, but you can add one more Humpty if you would like to go for a full dual mono version. The sound is warm like tube - yet stable, it is precise, musical and rhythmic. The 50W version adds special dimension of stamina to the sound - yet there is no fatigue even after 24h per day of listening.

About this listing: I am the first and only owner. This amplifier comes from a non smoking and pet free environment. I have enjoyed it for many years, and the only reason I am selling it is because I have new speakers that demand loads of power and a bi-amp.

It has some normal scratches after years of use. A few months ago, the amplifier was fully refurbished by the manufacturer - completely replaced potentiometers and electronic circuits - installed the newest generation (in both channels)! This means that you are buying a brand new Gaincard, originally fully refurbished by the manufacturer, only with some scratches on its body.
