This is a demo model I bought on impulse when buying a couple of the Wadia A315 amps for a project. As I started my research on it while it was on the way to my house quickly became apparent it was more than I needed and would require way too much time rearranging my fairly neanderthal music library system so all I've done is hook it up to make sure everything obvious is working and do some software updates.

So don't be like me. I will offer a return window if there is something actually wrong with the unit since I couldn't test it extensively but will under no circumstance take a return for buyer's remorse or not having researched it properly (like me).

NOTE ABOUT CONDITION RATING: This is essentially in factory fresh condition BUT at the time these were being produced McIntosh was transitioning to the use of some different materials and in the learning curve had some uniformity issues with the color/texture of the glass panels. Didn't realize until I'd already edited the pictures only one really shows it but it can be seen in the picture looking down at the top with the remote on it. There is a metal plate bonded to the glass and looks to be related to that process. I've been told that they will be making replacement panels (by someone who should know) but no idea what the time frame or cost for one will end up being.

It's gorgeous as it is but let me know if you'd like me to take and send a few more pics looking down (where it's most obvious) and I'd be happy to do so.

NOTE ABOUT COMPARISON TO MCINTOSH MEDIA BRIDGE: I've been told (once again, by someone who should know) that they've had both the Mc and the Wadia open and the internals appear to be identical. If you check out the specs on the respective product pages they seem to have been mostly copy/pasted from the same source which would reinforce that but please let me know if you have some information that conflicts with this and I'll update the ad. If you aren't needing to match the piece to an existing McIntosh stack I think this is a much prettier case (and nearly twice the weight!) and I generally don't like silver.

Uses the Autonomic OS/Player/Server to run everything so there shouldn't be any issues with the software staying current. When I ran the update it appeared to add a couple of services.

As stated at the beginning, free shipping via FedEx Ground included at asking price. Add 3% if using Paypal. Slight discount if paying with cash and doing a local pickup.

Please feel free to ask any questions but I won't be able to help much with ones specific to use of the item.
