METRUM ACOUSTICS ADAGIO R2R BALANCED DAC WITH LINESTAGE MINT CONDITION DEMO FREE XLR CABLES 1250

Up for sale is a mint condition demo Metrum Acoustics Adagio in silver. We are dealers for Metrum and have the full line.  This DAC is one of the best we've heard. The only one close that we have is the Lampizator Golden Gate balanced that is $18K. Its clear that the Metrum is a stronger value.  Look, I am the buyer for this company and I am very picky and choosy because if we recommend a DAC, we do not want issues with its performance and we serve the upper crust of audiophiles that are just as picky and nuts about music reproduction as we are. I have never heard a DAC be so detailed yet so smooth. This is one of the few Non oversampling DACs that ALSO have NO OUTPUT STAGE. This means the DAC chips drive the output straight from the chips. What does this mean to you ? LOW DISTORTION, minimal to zero phase issues analog stages are known for, so better imaging and realism. The Adagio has a brilliant, small simple solid aluminum remote, and it has a well implemented circuit of LED lights to let you know if it has a signal lock, or error, etc. Even our Golden Gate for $18K has no way to tell you its got a signal lock. This is a simple thing that goes miles when its time for setup and tweaking. There are balanced and single ended outputs but this is a true 4 DAC per channel dual differential design, so we highly recommend going balanced.  This unit comes with a full factory warranty and if in the slim chance something stops working, it does not need to go back to Netherlands as we are a full service center as well. 
Another detail is when you buy from us, you get Mike Powell as your personal HiFi consultant. This means the hours of advice or help is 7 days a week 10 AM to 10PM holidays as well.
