NHT VT-1.4 Towers & HDP-2 Surrounds

Set of 4 NHT speakers. 2 towers and 2 surrounds in piano black. Outstanding for theater and stereo listening.

The towers are the VT-1.4 with 8" side-loaded subwoofer (biamplifiable), two 4.5" midranges and 1" aluminum dome tweeter. There is a switch on the front that activates an additional rear-firing midrange and tweeter. Keep them off for stereo listening and switch them on for a more diffused sound for home theater. Used infrequently for just 3 years and otherwise stored in a climate controlled, smoke-free environment. No boxes, but beautiful condition. 9/10. Retail price: $1200

The surrounds are the NHT HDP-2. Each of these 3-chamber speakers basically contains 2 of NHT's well-regarded SuperZero mini speakers in a dipolar design and a rear firing woofer. Great dispersed sound for surround and a great match for the towers when switched to theater mode. These surrounds are BRAND NEW. They are sealed in original packaging and in unopened, unused condition. Mounting brackets included. Also stored in a climate controlled, smoke free environment. Retail price: $800

I love these speakers and wish I could keep them, but we're a military family and we just move too often to keep all my audio gear around, so I'm lightening the load a bit. This is $2000 worth of speakers. All 4 are yours for $900. That's like buying the surrounds new (which they are) and getting the towers for $100. Local buyers may come listen to the towers in my home. You'll understand I can't unbox the surrounds for a demo.
The cost of proper packaging and shipping 4 big boxes probably doesn't make sense for a listing at this price point. Local pick up is preferred. I can also deliver nearly anywhere along the I-81 corridor in VA.
