Please see pARTicular's website for more info on the design of this rack. http://www.particular.com/products/triangle/index.html NOTE: however, that this is "smaller size" version. Shelves are 18" x 19", NOT 18 " 23". Overall width is proportionally smaller. I bought mine directly from pARTicular. Am selling now because my system has gotten less complex and I don't need as large a rack as this. This model comes with 6 upgraded black performance acrylic shelves, as well as all originally-supplied visco elastic and aluminum isolators, plus pARTicular's wire management upgrade (allowing you to separate interconnects from power cables to prevent electromagnetic interference, while hiding the wires at the same time). Just the six black performance shelves themselves are a ~$2400 upgrade if you were to buy this rack new. This is an audiophile rack made by an exceptional designer whose Ypsilon rack (one level above this upgraded Triangle) is in the Permanent Design Collection of the Museum of Design and Architecture, The Chicago Athenaeum. All of my system cables are Nordost Odin (to give an idea of the quality of my system) and this rack was up to the task of reducing noise floor and enhancing acoustics while also looking great. Obviously, the rack is not new and there are minor scratches and wear marks. I think it's appropriately called 8/10 (to be conservative) and am happy to provide better close-up photos if you are a serious buyer . Assembly definitely required. Buyers in the Bay Area strongly preferred so I don't have to get professional packers involved. Buyer pays shipping and packing fees and Paypal. If you're going to lowball, don't bother. But if you're serious then I look forward to getting this excellent rack in your hands. One reason I really liked this rack, in addition to acoustics and looks, is its corner design. Perfect when space is at a premium.
