For sale is a pair of Vapor Audio Arcus in high gloss Jarrah wood veneer. These also have black metal flake baffles with cherry stain, a striking contrast to the veneer. Original owner and rated as 9 of 10. They were not perfect when new but are still exceptionally beautiful and are ruggedly built. There is a small area on the top of one speaker where the high gloss did not completely fill the grain, and there is a very small amount of waviness on the sides of one speaker. They are both difficult to see and you have to be looking for them to notice. These have upgraded veneer ($200), high gloss ($500), factory stands ($500), Clarity cap MR and Duelund resistors ($400), Verastarr internal wiring, and Cardas rhodium plated binding posts. I am also including a set of 8 Herbies Audio Labs heavy duty carpet gliders ($200). The base price for these recently went from $6495 to $7995 and would take the build price to $9595 plus the cost of the gliders. I found these speakers easier to position with the gliders instead of the factory spikes when moving with one person. They use Herbie's fat dots between speaker and stand. I am the original owner and have the factory shipping crate for these as well.

These are a large stand mount speaker. The dimensions of these are 14W x 16.5D x 27H and weigh in at over 100 pounds each. Did I say that they were massively built? These actual speakers can be seen on the Vapor site on the Arcus speaker page in the gallery. Other technical details can be found on the Vapor web site. They are the first, and possibly, the only pair with the front slotted port. The dimensions are larger than listed on the web page due to greater wall thickness of this pair. The original design was rear ported and had thinner walls. These are stand mounts that play like a floor stander. They are 92 db efficient, produce a life sized image, and will produce high SPLs without strain, if that is what you want. I do not want to sell, but circumstances make it a necessity. Asking $3100 and split shipping. Shipping must be by truck with lift gate due to the design of the shipping crate (both speakers and both stands in one crate). I would also be willing to audition these for a perspective buyer. Local pick up would also be an option, but it would have to be without the crate, as I have no way to load it onto a vehicle. Payment by Paypal and I absorb fees. I would also accept a cashier's check but it must clear my bank first. Vapor Audio is known for building great sounding speakers, and these are no exception. These are also known for very, very long build times. Save yourself a very large chunk of change and a lot of time with this pair of speakers. Contact me with any questions and thanks for looking.
