I am so impressed with the combination of a lifestyle look combined with an audiophile functionality. These babies score a high WAF. Additionally, they are a bipolar design( matched set of drivers firing front and back simultaneously). This is a more expensive solution, but allows you to have less room interference thus achieving good sound without excessive room treatment. I used these speakers in my living room with great success. They have about three months playing time. Interestingly, I have not experienced any break in changes. I would be curious if this is unique to my experience; but I can honestly say they sounded great from day one and still do. I have now moved into a dedicated listening room and am going b''ls to the wall with room treatments, huge drivers, and massive room treatments, so no need for these speakers.
